Battle Royale - Sword Combat

Minimum 2 to run the session, Max 4 per group (at this point in time).

You will be provided body armor, protective gloves, and a full face mask.

Once you are ready, you will receive some general sword training before battling it out with our single sword, double swords, sword, and shield, as well as sword and axes.. oh yes.. we've got it all!..

Bring out your inner warrior!

Please note that this is a full LARP combat activity, so please bring some extra layers as there are gaps in the body armor that can be hit. The body armor is designed to give you more mobility during the session, so the joints are exposed in some areas. We do not allow full contact (punching, kicking, grappling).

FAQ

What to Expect

The activity lasts around 1.5 hours. You will be required to sign an online disclaimer. You will be given a quick intro and safety briefing before getting to the fun part!  This is for 18 years + only due to the current sizing of our armor, glove and helmet.

This activity is very active (like Battle Archery), so please make sure your fitness level is ok before participating

What is LARP Combat?

LARP Combat or Live-Action Role-playing Combat is using foam weapons in an activity. The general rules we follow have been adapted to our session to ensure participants are safe when engaged with the activity. For example, no head strikes or you will be disqualified, No stabbing actions as the weapons have a glass-fibre core which could bruises and serious injury to the other participant.

LARP is a type of role-playing game in which participants physically act out scenarios, typically using costumes and props. Please note that this is not HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts). We do not allow full contact (punching, kicking, grappling).
